With fondness, people call me Suresh. I am an academic researcher, passionate about mainstreaming disability and rehabilitation within the agenda for health policies and systems worldwide. I am trained in Occupational Therapy and Public Health from India, and I work with national organisations, particularly from Low and Middle-Income countries, to address the global action plans and targets of Universal Health Coverage (UHC), the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), Rehabilitation 2030, and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) set by the World Health Organization and United Nations. I use and work on stroke, a leading cause of death and disability worldwide, to achieve my passion.
I have an immensely supportive wife and two little kids. I love singing Indian semi-classical songs. I enjoy nature treks.
