Mr. Kaival Patel

I am an Orthoptist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, working within the children's eye department. I graduated from the University of Sheffield in July 2025 with a BMedSci in Orthoptics, during which I served as Vice President of the Orthoptic Society and represented students nationally as a Student Representative on NHS England's CAHPO BAME Staff Advisory Group.

I am driven by a strong commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion within healthcare. I believe the allied health professions should be shaped by, and accessible to, people from all backgrounds, and that meaningful representation starts with supporting students and early-career professionals to find their voice.
